The Tester on Playstation Network

Sony now has open casting for their new reality show titled The Tester. This heart breaking, man making, battle of the wills reality show will make a group of gamers face off with their knowledge of video games, test their mental toughness, and their endurance in a series of elimination challenges created by Sony.

The Tester will be on the Playstation Network as a series of programs available for you to watch. Exciting right? The victor of the reality show will have the blessing of working for Sony and landing a job in the Quality Assurance department in San Diego, California, giving you the opportunity to work on some of the most popular upcoming Playstation 3 titles. This is limited to US citizens over the age of 21, by the way, so that cuts out many of you who were hoping to enter this program.

The Tester will be an eight episode show, and is being developed by some of the top reality show making minds. The people behind the flavor of love, and all of the other whorish reality series that you find on tv today. So this is probably their least perverted and cliche reality show yet. I'm personally expecting this thing to be a cheesy bomb that won't really attract users after the first episode. If anything, people would watch just to see who gets the job, in which case, they'd probably just wait until the 8th episode. I can't really imagine seeing any action, tears or drama in a show about testing video game knowledge and prowess. Unless they force them to do physical activities as well, in which case, I don't see what that has to do with entering the Quality Assurance field.

For those of you who think Quality Assurance is the dream job, well, you're quite wrong. Quality Assurance is one of the least paid jobs in the gaming industry, and is probably laughed at. It's something you get when you can't manage to do anything more important than just video game testing, no offense. Maybe some people look forward to it, but if you've read stories and feedback about anyone who's been a Quality Assurance in the gaming industry, you'd know why I say this. The Tester touts the Quality Assurance as a dream job, but it hardly is. However, being in Quality Assurance is a great place to start to get your foot in the door of the gaming industry, because then you can transfer into being a producer after a couple of years, and with experience, you can expect to make a six figure salary.

Anyway, The Tester is something you should expect to see on the Playstation Network some time soon.

There is a way of getting Free Playstation Network Codes without giving away any of your account information. It's easy, safe, and many people are currently doing this. This won't get your account banned or anything, Sony knows about it and it's a safe way of getting Free Playstation Network Codes. A Free Playstation Network code can be very important for those of you who are looking for some extra entertainment out of your Playstation 3. You will be able to get premium content out of your Playstation Store, which can certainly vary things up if you're done with most of your games. If you're interested read on.

There are multiple ways for you to be able to obtain wallet funds for your Playstation Network account. One way is by using your credit card to directly purchase funds for your virtual wallet. But a lot of people, mainly kids, do not have access or do not own a credit card. So the other way is by purchasing a Playstation Network card. That is a prepaid card that comes with a code that you can use to redeem on your Playstation 3 to get wallet funds pretty much instantly. It works just as good, but what about for those of you who don't actually have money at the time? That's where this method on getting Free Playstation Network Codes can really help you out.

Doing this method, you actually get a Free Playstation Network Card, which works great actually. The method is shown on my first post, actually. This method will guide you on how to get a Free Playstation Network card. All you have to do is sign up to the rewards website and do a couple of surveys. The rewards website gets paid for every survey that is done, by their advertisers. So as a way to repay you for doing the surveys, you can request a Free Playstation Network Card and they will send it to you. It's literally that simple. Many people have done this, and enjoyed the service every bit.

Just imagine, instead of having to spend $20 every time you want to enjoy something on the Playstation Network, you can just fill out a couple of surveys and get the Free Playstation Network Code for something that took you a couple of minutes to do. You're saving money by doing this, so it's a great thing for you too. The Playstation Store has a lot to offer, such as movies, tv shows, games, minis, and more premium content such as clothing you can purchase for your character in Home. So enjoy your Free Playstation Network Codes.

Sony: Late with The Playstation Network

It seems that Sony thinks that they were a bit late with introducing the Playstation Network, in comparison with Microsoft. The Playstation Network is pretty much just starting to be regarded as a force to be reckoned with, since games like MAG are coming out which allows the most players in one match that I've ever seen in a fps.

Sony said that they were late to offer support on the platform level, towards developers, to allow them to truly take advantage of what the Playstation 3 has to offer. They said that developers were originally creating their own networks, but as more developers started creating networks, there had to be a unified approach.

To be honest, there isn't that great of a difference in enjoyment between the Playstation Network and Xbox Live. The Playstation Network has increased in popularity and functionality greatly, I think. It offers a great service and all the basic features that one would need. Such as downloadable demos, music, videos, trophies and more. It also has great up time, I haven't heard my friends complain about being disconnected from the Playstation Network frequently. But that being said, Xbox Live does have more features and functionality than the Playstation 3 though.

But when you have games like MAG, and mmorpg's coming out for the Playstation Network, it just makes it that much more worth it to start gaming on it. I'm sure that the Playstation Network will see some great changes in the upcoming months, to offer functionality that can compare and maybe even surpass that of the Xbox Live. So out of curiosity, are you a fan of the PSN or do you think it can't compare?
